Don’t tell your single friend that you have a certain someone you want them to meet unless you
A. know that certain someone is also single.
B. know that they would have more in common with that certain someone than their shared single status.
C. have an actual plan on how they could meet.
D. are willing to implement said plan in a timely manner.
Otherwise, keep your day job and quit trying to moonlight as a matchmaker. With dating, it’s not the thought that counts.
